Missouri Health Care for All (MHCFA) is the only permanent, statewide organization in Missouri focused solely on grassroots mobilization on health care issues. This non-profit, non-partisan, 501(c)(3) organization was founded by faith and community leaders and is dedicated to the principle that every Missourian deserves access to quality, affordable health care. MHCFA has nearly 16,000 individual members, more than 200 participating organizations, a diverse, statewide Board of Directors and six full-time employees. They provide these individual and organizational supporters with meaningful, effective ways to take action in St. Louis, Jefferson County, St. Charles County, Springfield, Joplin, Jefferson City, Columbia, Rolla, Kansas City, and Southeast Missouri.

Missouri Health Care for All (MHCFA) is one of Deaconess’ five Just for Kids Anchor Institutions. This multi-year capacity building partnership affords the organization’s leadership access to supportive training, regular peer exchange with similarly-situated executives and board members and annual retreats. MHCFA also receives operating support for a focused capacity-building plan to strengthen management, leadership, adaptive and technical capacities along with organizational culture. They also receive Responsive Grant support for Grassroots Organizing and Policy Leadership for Children’s Healthcare from Deaconess.
