Join Us for the Public Release of Our Power Moves Assessment Results

Earlier this year, Deaconess Foundation engaged Makiyah Moody, senior manager with LaPiana Consulting, to assess how the Foundation builds, wields and shares power using the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy’s ‘Power Moves’ toolkit.Through a collaborative, investigative process involving surveys and interviews with our partners, community members and philanthropic colleagues, we received feedback and got a view of our work from the various fields we engage. Our hope was to get an eye on whether we are fully leveraging our resources in pursuit of the equity and justice required to assure child well-being in the St. Louis region.

On September 29, we will present the results publicly and invite the community to hold us accountable in an interactive virtual experience. Please join our circle of accountability.
