Ann robertson, assistant to the cEO and office manager
Ms. Ann Robertson joined Deaconess Foundation as Assistant to the CEO and Office Manager in July 2016. Prior to joining Deaconess Foundation, Ms. Robertson worked on special projects for the STEM Center at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She has also worked for the City of Rock Hill as the Assistant City Manager and Finance Director as well as serving as Executive Director of the St. Louis Regional Empowerment Zone. Prior to coming to St. Louis, Ms. Robertson worked in community development and public policy research in Minneapolis and Pittsburgh.
Ms. Robertson has a Masters in Urban Affairs from St. Louis University. The degree allowed her to pull together classes covering her broad range of interests including urban planning, land use law, economic development and political science.
Ms. Robertson is married and lives in Edwardsville, Illinois with her husband and two elderly rescue dogs. She is a member of the Edwardsville Zoning Board of Appeals and past president of the Edwardsville Children’s Museum board. She and her husband volunteer extensively with Treehouse Wildlife Center in Dow, Illinois building cages and greeting visitors.
